dc.description.abstract The purpose of this study is to critically examine rooming houses from a community-based “people and place” perspective. This approach includes surveys, in-depth interviews and a workshop. The instruments used in the study were aimed at learning about rooming houses, the people who live in them and those who share the neighbourhood. The study focused on St. Matthews-Maryland, Spence, and Osborne Village. en_US
